About: I was approached to create the commemorative 20th issue of the Blacfax calendar. This is a calendar with facts about historical black figures and daily questions to test your knowledge. I was requested to retain the established look and feel of past calendars while fitting all the information provided into the 2020 calendar.

As the designer and formatter, I completed the project before the deadline and the client was extremely happy with the end result.

I’ve included a sample page for the month of February and the cover page. I really enjoyed this project, I learned quite a bit historically and about inDesign (even though I work with it all the time), this was the first time I was asked to make a calendar. The client had such a positive experience they have asked me to design future calendars.

Several of my freelance projects in 2019 involved creating informational booklets, brand bibles or sell sheets with InDesign.
